Master-class objective:

This master-class provides an overview of how a company goes public through an Initial Public Offering or IPO.

“IPO” is designed to give participants a broad overview of the basic principles of floatation and the due diligence process, to give some advice of choosing underwriters and advisors during IPO, and also we will discuss what will happen with organizations after going public. Moreover, some peculiarities about IPO in 2015 will be considered.

 

The Master-class purpose:

  • Learn how to go public with the benefits and profits to the organizations

  • Enhance your practical understanding of due diligence processes and flotation issues

  • Gain a detailed understanding of the impact of IPO on organization activities

  • Develop effective strategies of choosing underwriters and arbitrators while going public

  • Regulatory distinction between IPO strategies in 2014 and 2015

 

The Master-class is designed to combine theory and global best practice.

 

The course will explore its issues and its challenges for both bankers and regulators. The master-class will emphasize practical advantages and disadvantages of IPO Process and management tools and techniques. Samples of best practices in IPO will be provided.

 

The case study will give you real life examples of the theories covered in the lectures, providing you with a greater understanding of the master-class topics.

 

At the end of the master-class "IPO" the student must:

  • Understand how companies are selected for IPO and are restructured to meet listing requirements; the importance of due diligence procedures

  • Have knowledge in how IPOs are underwritten, what is Pricing process and how IPO organizational meeting is held

  • Know how to prepare IPO in 2015 and what benefits it could bring
